Yasiin Bey, a.k.a. Mos Def, submits to what’s allegedly the same force-feeding procedure used with detainees at Guantanamo Bay in a graphic new video.
Many Gitmo prisoners are currently on a hunger strike; U.S. military personnel have countered with the practice seen here, arguing that it’s for the detainees’ medical well-being.
Either way, Bey breaks down, and the footage is alarming.
