Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig were tasked with presenting the award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy or Musical at the Golden Globes on Sunday, and the duo turned the opportunity into a very funny routine.

Pretending that they’d watched each of the nominees’ films, Ferrell and Wiig hilariously mangled the plots and titles of the movies (along with details of the actresses’ performances), much to the delight of almost everyone in the crowd.

Tommy Lee Jones was caught on camera looking less than happy with the bit.

Jimmy Kimmel’s show has been moved a half-hour earlier, and it’s causing all kinds of problems — especially for Will Ferrell.

The late-night host was just starting a segment on Wednesday’s broadcast when Ferrell “interrupted” him by coming on stage to do “Knife Guys,” a home shopping show Ferrell said he tapes every week at that time.

Ferrell’s sidekick?

None other than Ryan Gosling.

It all made for a very funny (phony) scheduling conflict.
