Kanye West to Perform at MTV VMAs for Record Seventh Time

Kanye West is returning to the MTV Video Music Awards stage.
The rapper is slated to perform his single “Black Skinhead” at the upcoming awards show, it was announced on Monday.
According to the network, after the performance West “will triumphantly enter the history books by tying Madonna as the artist with the most VMA performances.”

Madge’s record currently stands at seven VMAs performances.
West last performed on the awards show in 2011.
This year’s VMAs will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 25, and Gossip Cop will have full coverage.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Lady Gaga is also slated to perform.
