“True Blood” is coming back for another bite.

On Monday, HBO announced that the hit vampire series will return for a seventh season in 2014.

New episodes will air next summer.

“True Blood remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers,” said network exec Michael Lombardo in a statement.

“True Blood” has its Season 6 premiere at 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The hit HBO show, based on the Southern vampire series by Charlaine Harris, has been gone for nearly a year — and millions of fans are eager to bite into the new episodes.
