Kathie Lee Gifford turned 60 on Friday, and her co-host Hoda Kotb surprised the “Today Show” host outside her Greenwich, Connecticut home with balloons, a mariachi band, and of course booze.

The Birthday Girl emerged from her home already holding a Bloody Mary naturally, and appreciated Kotb’s surprise, which also included a plane flying above wishing Gifford a “Happy Birthday.”

Meanwhile, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Natalie Morales toasted Gifford with champagne and wished her the best.

Today Show Scare: Man Stabs Himself On Plaza In Possible Suicide Attempt (VIDEO)

A man stabbed himself outside the “Today Show” on Thursday in an apparent suicide attempt that led to a temporary evacuation of the crowd in Rockefeller Plaza.

The scary incident occurred off-camera, although bystanders snapped shots of the moments when security personnel converged on the man (see right and below).

Shortly after the stabbing, Matt Lauer told viewers about the situation (video below).

It’s not believed that the still unidentified man intended to harm anyone but himself.

He was taken into custody.

Beyonce Laughs Off Pregnancy Rumor on Today Show (VIDEO)

Beyoncé laughed off rumors that she’s pregnant in a sit-down with the “Today Show” while backstage at Saturday’s Chime for Change: The Sound of Change Live concert.

In the clip, which aired on Monday morning, anchor Savannah Guthrie tells the superstar, “I would be remiss if I didn’t give you a chance to dispel any rumors about whether you’re expecting.”

“What kind of rumor?” Beyoncé playfully asks before bursting into laughter, and adding, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Interestingly, the singer never definitively answers the question either way.
