The “X Factor” held another dramatic double elimination on Thursday’s results show.

It all kicked off with host Mario Lopez immediately sending home vocal powerhouse Khaya Cohen after revealing she received the lowest amount of votes after Wednesday’s performance show.

Mentor Demi Lovato expressed her disappointment, saying Cohen’s voice was “literally one of the best I’ve ever heard.”

It was later announced that TWO of Paulina Rubio’s contestants, Carlito Olivero and Tim Olstad, would have to face off in a “final showdown” to determine who would get to stay in the competition — and who would be the second act of the night to get the boot.

Olstad first performed “You Raise Me Up,” followed by Olivero performing “Beneath Your Beautiful.”

Kelly Rowland voted to eliminate Olstad, and Lovato did as well.

A clearly upset and struggling Rubio — who looked like she might be sick — ultimately said she, too, was voting to send home Olstad, making it official without a vote from Simon Cowell.

The mentor could have voted to send home Olivero, leaving the final decision up to Cowell, but admirably did not take the easy way out.

Olstad seemed crushed while Olivero, not surprisingly, looked quite relieved.

Rion Paige breathed new life into Elton John’s “Your Song” with a stunning performance on Wednesday’s “X Factor.”

The 13-year-old initially left Kelly Rowland “speechless” by her “incredible” performance.

“You are so human, and you allowed yourself to be vulnerable this week,” said the judge. “This week I felt something different from you, and I absolutely loved it.”

Paulina Rubio told Paige, “I think your voice is brilliant with that arrangement.”

Simon Cowell noted, “I thought you were good last week. I thought this week you were absolutely fantastic.”

“You controlled the song beautifully,” he added, saying — like Alex & Sierra — the rendition sounded like “a record,” and exclaiming later, “You can’t be 13!”

And mentor Demi Lovato admitted, “I got really emotional when you sang because I can feel the emotion when you sing.”

“I’m just so proud of you that you can sit there and control the audience and command the stage with not only your voice but the expression on your face,” said the singer.

Alex & Sierra received a standing ovation for their reworked version of One Direction’s “Best Song Ever” on Wednesday’s “X Factor.”

The couple turned the up-tempo hit into a romantic, slow ballad, bringing Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Simon Cowell to their feet.

“I think you guys should be really proud of yourselves,” Rowland told them.

Lovato said, “I think this was your best performance yet.”

“I’m actually gonna go home and download [your song] on iTunes tonight because I love that so much,” she added.

And mentor Cowell called his act’s rendition “a brilliant, brilliant performance,” saying that it stands far above what the prior contestants did because it could be “a record” right now.

“You carry on like this, guys, you have serious chance of winning this show,” he declared.
