Restless Road Has ‘X Factor,’ Demi Lovato Declares After ‘Footloose’ Performance

Restless Road has the “X factor,” Demi Lovato declared on Wednesday’s episode.

Simon Cowell’s country trio performed the Footloose theme song for 80s week, and they blew away the judges with their spirited rendition.

Lovato told them afterward, “This could’ve been your song!”

“You guys keep growing every week. I see so much potential,” said the singer, adding, “You guys have the X Factor. You guys have it.”

Kelly Rowland said, “You guys are loads of fun. Like I said, I’ll be there front row at the concerts.”

Added Paulina Rubio, “I love the concept. I love you guys together, and I think you did great.”

And mentor Cowell noted, “I love the fact that you love being here, and that’s infectious.”

“I’ve got a real good feeling about you guys, congratulations,” he added.

WATCH: Rion Paige “Soars” With Pat Benatar’s “We Belong” on X Factor

Rion Paige may have been born in 2000, but she went back to 1984 on Wednesday’s “X Factor” with unbelievable success.

The 13-year-old performed Pat Benatar‘s “We Belong” for the episode’s 80s theme, and proved once again that age is nothing but a number.

“I just love the way you sang ‘we belong together’ like you were right in the middle of the 80s and you were just born yesterday!” exclaimed Kelly Rowland.

She went on, “You soared on the way home. You really delivered a beautiful moment.”

Paulina Rubio called Paige a “fantastic” “firecracker,” noting, “I just love how you feel the music.”

Said Simon Cowell, “You know what I really like about you? No matter what song you’re given, you perform it a 110 percent.”

Mentor Demi Lovato added, “I think this song choice was great for you… I think you did great, and I’m proud of you.”

Who Was Eliminated on X Factor?

“The X Factor” held a special elimination on Wednesday, after last week’s results show was canceled due to a voting glitch.

At the beginning of the episode, one of the Top 13 singers had to get the boot based on the votes cast for the re-do performances held last Thursday.

Carlos Guevera was eliminated after it was revealed he received the lowest amount of votes.

That means Paulina Rubio has three boys remaining: Carlito Olivero, Tim Olstad, and Josh Levi, who was bought back last week as the wild card act.
