One Direction and The Wanted are among the nominees for Worst Band at the 2014 NME (New Music Express) Awards.

Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds To MarsThe 1975Imagine Dragons and Muse were also nominated for the ignoble award.

One Direction has won the (dis)honor the past two years.

Meanwhile, Harry StylesMiley CyrusRobin Thicke and Russell Brand earned nods for Villain of the Year.

Siva Kaneswaran of The Wanted Engaged to Nareesha McCaffrey

Siva Kaneswaran of The Wanted is engaged to Nareesha McCaffrey.

The singer and the shoe designer have dated for several years, and he proposed last month.

They went public with the engagement on Monday.

“Thank you for all your lovely messages. So delighted right now xx” tweeted McCaffrey, along with a drawing of Kaneswaran’s proposal (see below).

The Wanted’s Tom Parker tweeted, “Just got to say I’m totally over the moon for @SivaTheWanted and @Nare_esha. I’m expecting a position as [bridesmaid].”
