WATCH: E.G. Daily, Voice of Rugrats, Shocks Coaches on The Voice

E.G. Daily was a surprise face on “The Voice” on Tuesday.

The contestant is probably best known to TV viewers as the voice of Tommy on “Rugrats” and Pheobe’s singing partner on “Friends,” and explained she decided to audition in hopes of seguing from a voice-over artist and occasional actress to major singer.

Her “last chance to make it” went well enough to get Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton to turn around in their chairs, and none of the coaches even recognized her until well into their critiques.

Daily ultimately chose to work with Shelton.

The famed voice-over artist, who had a record deal in the 1980s and self-released an album as recently as 2008, is also best known for Buttercup on the “Powerpuff Girls” and appearing in “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.”
