Julie Chen is speaking out about the competition — and she doesn’t think “The View” and Jenny McCarthy are a good fit.
“The Talk” host first made waves during an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” when she agreed with the host’s assessment that it was a “mistake” for “The View” to hire McCarthy.
Chen then clarified her remarks to “Extra,” explaining that “The View” used to be a show where “women from different walks of life discuss politics.”
“Now with Jenny there, it seems like they don’t know what to do with her talent, and the show has lost its way,” said Chen.
