Terrence Howard made some explosive claims against Robert Downey Jr. on Thursday’s “Watch What Happens Live,” telling Andy Cohen that his Iron Man co-star pushed him out of the film’s sequel.

Asked by a caller why he wasn’t in the second installment of the franchise, Howard said, “The person that I helped become Iron Man, when it was time to reup for the second one, took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out.”

The actor added, “I called my friend that I helped get the first job and he didn’t call me back for three months.”

Terrence Howard Denies Beating Ex-Wife Michelle Ghent (VIDEO)

Terrence Howard is opening up about allegations that he abused ex-wife Michelle Ghent, saying that it would be “completely against [his] spirit” and that he “can’t harm a fly.”

Speaking to ET’s Nancy O’Dell at The Butler premiere on Monday, Howard claimed the accusations are “completely wrong.”

The actor said of Ghent, “We’re divorced now, and she should stay that way. And I just wish the best for her… but I’m so heartbroken. You can see that doing it on a night like this is only for an attempt to try and hurt me.”

“Unfortunately,” he added, “there are some documents that will come out and will tell everything that has occurred, but I never laid my hands on that woman. Or any woman, that’s just not my way.”

Terrence Howard Accused of Beating Up Ex-Wife Michelle Ghent: Report

Terrence Howard is accused of beating his ex-wife Michelle Ghent during a trip to Costa Rica last week.

The divorced couple had reportedly traveled together to the country — with members of the actor’s family — when an argument erupted, leading to allegations that Ghent maced Howard and that he physically assaulted her, according to TMZ.

It’s not clear exactly what transpired, with both sides reportedly accusing the other of making up a version of events.

Police reports were taken and Ghent is supposedly seeking a restraining order against Howard.

Back in 2011, after filing for divorce from him, Ghent accused Howard of repeated abuse and death threats.
