Pippi Longstocking Star Tami Erin Arrested for Alleged Assault: Report

Tami Erin, who starred in The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking, was reportedly arrested for alleged assault this week.
The actress was busted in California on Thursday after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with a male roommate, according to TMZ.
A neighbor reportedly intervened and placed her under citizen’s arrest until police arrived.
Erin was reportedly booked for assault and released on Friday.
Her case has been transferred to the District Attorney’s office for review.
As a young actor, Erin beat out thousands of hopefuls for the chance to play the mischievous Longstocking in a new film chronicling the adventures of the beloved children’s book character (see below).
