Robin Roberts NOT Engaged to Girlfriend

Robin Roberts, who officially came out of the closet last month, is NOT engaged to girlfriend Amber Laign, despite a Star report.

According to the tabloid, the “Good Morning America” co-anchor is “planning to pop the question to the woman whose love helped her fight cancer,” which Star touts as Roberts’ “secret engagement.”

Star explains that after making her relationship public, Roberts is set to propose to Laign.

“The next step will be the announcement of their engagement — and then a glorious wedding,” says a mag source. “They’re totally devoted to each other.”

We have no doubt that that’s true… but they’re NOT engaged, and Roberts is NOT planning to propose imminently.

A Roberts friend tells Gossip Cop the report is “not true.”

Jessica Simpson Getting Boob Job?

According to Star, Jessica Simpson has “already picked out her ‘something new’ — a pair of breasts!”

Oh boy.

“She wants to get a boob lift in time for her Valentine’s Day wedding,” a so-called “family insider” tells the tabloid.

The Star source adds, “After a second round of breast-feeding, her girls are totally sagging. She says breasts are perfect when the nipples are halfway between your shoulder and elbow. She wants to look like her old self on her big day.”

Well, that’s a really weird quote.

The magazine goes on to say that Simpson’s fiance, Eric Johnson, is “ready for her to get a missus makeover.”

“Eric is really excited, but he’s desperately trying not to show it. She’s hoping to surprise him on their wedding night with her new perky boobs!” declares the Star spy.

So some random person knows Jessica Simpson is getting a boob job… but not her soon-to-be husband?

And that person happened to tell Star, the same outlet that claimed Simpson was “starving” herself for a wedding to Johnson back in 2011?

The same magazine that falsely linked Simpson to Tiger Woods?

For some reason, Star is obsessed with Simpson and Johnson getting makeovers before their nuptials.

Last week, the tabloid spread a phony story about Johnson having $50,000 of work done to his teeth.

Now this.

Simpson is NOT getting married on Valentine’s Day, and she’s NOT getting a “boob lift.”

A source close to the star tells Gossip Cop the report is 100 percent false.

LeAnn Rimes Taking Laxatives To Stay Thin For Eddie Cibrian, Claims Tabloid

LeAnn Rimes is “desperately trying to lose weight — and hang on to her husband” Eddie Cibrian, reports Star.

The magazine, which previously reported the singer paid Cibrian for sex, now says Rimes is “dying to be thin” for her man.

A so-called “source” for the tab claims, “She told me, ‘I have to look skinny for Eddie.’”

The purported “insider” adds, “Eddie loves thin women, and would never have a fat woman in his life.”

Right.

Star further says Rimes wants to lose weight to keep up with her rival Brandi Glanville.

The “source” alleges that the “Spitfire” singer is “taking ADD medication and laxatives” to get skinny.

But wouldn’t that be bad for Rimes’ supposed pregnancy, which the tabloid reported this summer?

Obviously, this story is just another one of the magazine’s false tales about the star.

Still, we checked in with a close Cibrian and Rimes pal, who said simply, “LOL.”
