Selma Blair Fired, Leaving Anger Management After Charlie Sheen Feud

Selma Blair won’t be returning to Charlie Sheen’s ”Anger Management.”

The actress’ widely-speculated exit from the FX series became official on Tuesday night, with studio Lionsgate TV announcing in a statement, “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”

Sheen reportedly advocated for Blair’s firing, alleging that she complained about working with him.

The actress was reportedly unhappy with Sheen’s work ethic, accusing him of arriving late and being unprepared.

Producers and the co-stars were in negotiations this week to see if a resolution could be reached, although Sheen was adamant that Blair — who played his colleague and sometime love interest — leave the show, or he would quit.

It seems the actor has gotten his way, and the show will continue filming its 90-episode order without her.

Sheen, of course, infamously clashed with Chuck Lorre on the set of “Two and a Half Men,” leading to the star’s controversial firing in 2011.

MAG: Selma Blair is “Scary Skinny,” Weighs “90 lbs.”

“SCARY-SKINNY ALERT!” blares a sensationalized headline from Star about Selma Blair.

Citing an invasive paparazzi photo of the actress walking her baby son sans bra, the mag says Blair looks “skeletal” and “incredibly thin,” with a “frighteningly prominent” ribcage.

According to the tabloid, “She’s been under tremendous stress since separating from Jason Bleick but is refusing to acknowledge her increasingly frail, gaunt figure.”

A so-called “friend” of the Cruel Intentions star tells the tab, “She’s scary-skinny right now. Her friends and family are really worried, but she is in denial.”

The purported pal alleges, “She’s so sickly looking, she must weight about 90 lbs.”

Star’s “source” claims that after Blair’s reported split from Bleick, “She stopped taking care of her appearance and health.”

Of course, this is the same publication that claimed Miley Cyrus’ family was staging a weight intervention, and that Angelina Jolie had plummeted to 98 lbs. in a “health crisis.”

Much like those previous tales, this story is completely inaccurate.

A rep for Blair tells Gossip Cop, “She is not 90 pounds, and she is fine.”
