HollywoodLife, a shameless webloid that has frequently made up stories involving Selena Gomez, just did it again — ruining a very sweet moment between the singer and one of her fans in the process.
The blog, not shy about fabricating controversy, posted a clip from The Hot Hits Live in which Gomez is shown a video made by one of her biggest supporters.
As she watches her Australian super fan Georgie talk about what the star means to her, Gomez becomes emotional and starts to cry.
It’s a really nice video, and it’s worth checking out below.
But HollywoodLife wants to make it all about Justin Bieber.
“Selena Gomez Bursts Into Tears — Sad About Justin Bieber?” reads the outlet’s headline over a shot of Gomez in tears (see above).
“Even though it was a very touching video, do you think Selena was crying because she missed Justin,” speculates HollywoodLife.
Um, her crying has NOTHING TO DO with Justin Bieber.
HollywoodLife has no qualms about misleading headlines.
