Did Savannah Guthrie give Matt Lauer the finger on Friday’s “Today Show”?
During a segment on vacuum cleaners outside at Rockefeller Plaza, Lauer cracked a joke about it being the first time Guthrie had ever vacuumed.
Guthrie then turned around and made a gesture in Lauer’s direction that certainly looked like she was flipping him off.

“Folks!! That was my INDEX finger!” tweeted Guthrie after the incident, providing some less-than-conclusive photo evidence.
Either way, Lauer didn’t seem too bothered.
He jokingly tweeted Guthrie a picture that showed him “storming out of the office after your middle finger salute” (see below).
