Sandra Oh: I’m Leaving Grey’s Anatomy

Sandra Oh is leaving “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The actress, who’s been on the show since it premiered in 2005, tells The Hollywood Reporter she’s exiting the series after its upcoming tenth season.
Oh tells the site, “Creatively, I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let [my character Cristina] go.”
The star adds, “It’s such an interesting thing to play a character for so long and to actually get the sense that she wants to be let go as well. [Cristina] wants to be let go, and I am ready to let her go.”
Oh goes on to reveal that she’s “gone through a lot of therapy” over her decision to leave the show, but adds that she’s “ready.”
Season 10 premieres on Thursday, September 26 on ABC.
