Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike are reportedly set to star in the movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s bestselling mystery novel, Gone Girl.
Affleck is slated to play Nick Dunne, a husband whose wife disappears on their fifth wedding anniversary — and who’s suspected of foul play.
Pike has been offered the role of Nick’s wife, Amy Dunne, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
David Fincher is lined up to direct the film.
Gone Girl is scheduled to begin production in September.
