Rolling Stone has ignited a firestorm of criticism for putting Boston Maraton bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover of its latest issue.

The photo of Tsarnaev is a self-taken picture that circulated on the Internet during the manhunt for the suspect and his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed in a the face-off with police.

The magazine’s cover caption reads, “How a popular, promising student was failed by his family, fell into radical Islam and became a monster.”

On Wednesday morning, Rolling Stone became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter after a number of readers slammed the mag for what they consider glorifying terrorism.

Tsarnaev is being charged with 30 federal counts for the bombings, which killed three people and injured 264 others.

Jon Hamm: It’s “Rude” to Talk “About My C**k”

Truth rating: 10

10:04 am, March 27th, 2013

(Rolling Stone)

Jon Hamm would like to keep his privates private.

The “Mad Men” star reveals in the new issue of Rolling Stone that he’s had enough of talk about his nether regions, an area he believes should be off-limits (except, perhaps, to longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt).

“Most of it’s tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude. It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have — a prurience,” Hamm tells the magazine.

Gossip Cop exclusively debunked recent reports that claimed the actor’s anatomy was causing issues on the set of his hit drama, to the point where he was supposedly being forced to wear underwear.

It was all nonsense, and Hamm says how he dresses that area — or doesn’t — is no one’s business but his own.

“They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason,” he complains. ”I’m wearing pants, for f**k’s sake. Lay  off.”

The TV star further tells Rolling Stone, “I mean, it’s not like I’m a f**king lead miner. There are harder jobs in the  world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c**k,  I feel like that wasn’t part of the deal [of fame].”

“But whatever,” adds Hamm. “I guess it’s better than being called out for the opposite.”

Rolling Stone hits newsstands on Friday.

Rihanna on Chris Brown Reconciliation: “If It’s A Mistake, It’s My Mistake”

9:34 am, January 30th, 2013

(Rolling Stone)

Rihanna reveals why she decided to reconcile with Chris Brown in the new issue of Rolling Stone, telling the magazine, “I decided it was more important for me to be happy.”

“I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake,” continues the singer.

She adds, ”After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

Rihanna’s relationship with Brown — which seems to be in a near-constant state of flux — has been under much scrutiny ever since he assaulted her in 2009, and the performer says she knows most people don’t understand why she’s reunited with him.

“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world,” says Rihanna. “You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now.”

She continues, ”We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about sh*t. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”

And Rihanna seems to firmly believe there’s little chance Brown would ever become violent with her again.

“He doesn’t have the luxury of f**king up again. That’s just not an option,” she says before admitting, ”I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong.”

“But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that,” says Rihanna. ”And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

Rihanna’s full interview in the January 31 issue hits newsstands Friday.
