Reese Witherspoon, who was arrested in Atlanta last month for disorderly conduct after drunkenly shouting at Atlanta cops, “Do you know my name,” now seems to be a little more apologetic and supportive of those police officers.
Days after the first and second embarrassing dash cam tapes emerged, the Oscar winner sported her newfound love for the cops by arriving at LAX in a baseball cap that read, “City of Atlanta Police.”

Witherspoon also previously issued a public apology right after her arrest, and said on “Good Morning America” that she told the cops “crazy things,” including that she was pregnant.

On Thursday, Witherspoon pled no contest to the disorderly conduct charge stemming from her husband Jim Toth’s recent DUI incident.

There’s new Reese Witherspoon arrest video footage — and it’s gotta be seen and heard.

On Thursday, the first police car dash cam tape of Witherspoon’s outburst during husband Jim Toth’s DUI bust surfaced, showing the inebriated actress arguing with the arresting officer and refusing to obey his instructions.
In the new clip leaked on Friday, the star utters her immortal line, “My name is Reese Witherspoon, you are arresting me for obstruction of justice, it will be in the national news.”
But after the cop leaves the couple, we hear Toth scolding his superstar wife for her behavior.
“Why are you doing this?” he asks. ”All you should have done was let me get arrested… Now you’ve turned it into national news.
Toth tells Witherspoon her attitude “just turned it really bad.”
The actress, in disbelief over the situation, says of the police officer, ”He does not have jurisdiction over the ground that he speaks on.”
We’re not sure that would hold up in Legally Blonde.
