Kristen Bell opens up in the September issue of Redbook, about motherhood, her pregnancy body, and special connection to fiance Dax Shepard.

The actress, who gave birth to daughter Lincoln Bell Shepard in March, admits that accepting pregnancy’s body changes wasn’t an immediate accomplishment.

“I’m like any other woman,” shares Bell, adding, “All this evolved b.s. that I’m telling you is my mantra: It’s not something I practice naturally. I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that’s just part of the journey of having a baby.”

Ultimately, Bell insists, “I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size.”

Of course, her body wasn’t the only thing that changed with her daughter’s arrival.

While “Lincoln will always be number one,” Bell notes, “I still want a career…I think if you can cut that cord of obsessiveness, then you can work and be a good mother and wife.”

The “Veronica Mars” star also tells Redbook about her connection with fiance Shepard, recalling how she once had a “feeling came over that Dax needed me.”

Bell says she “got on a plane, without telling him and walked into the hospital room” in Detroit, where Shepard had been spending time with his sick father.

“And sure enough, it had been a bad day and Dax and his dad had gotten some rough news. Two days later, his dad passed away.”

Bell says, “I was meant to be there.”

Khloe Kardashian opens up in the June issue of Redbook about her fertility issues, marriage, and famous family.

The magazine’s cover gal shares, “I do think my difficulty getting pregnant has helped a lot of women. Do I wish people would quit asking me about it 24/7? Yes, but I don’t regret it.”

“People assume I’m desperate for a baby. And yes, I would love to have a baby. But I’m 28, and I’ve been married three and a half years. I love my life, but it doesn’t feel incomplete right now,” she adds.

Kardashian explains that her fertility problems are a result of her “hormones being off.”

She says, “I was taking hormone shots to stabilize them, and you have to take those shots consistently and they have to be done by a doctor,” noting, “If I’m in Miami and miss a treatment, I have to start all over again. It’s a commitment and I don’t mind doing it, but the timing was just off.”

Contrary to rumors, which Gossip Cop has debunked, Kardashian doesn’t resent that sister Kim is expecting.

“People want to assume that I’m devastated. I couldn’t be happier,” she says, and spills, “I actually got mad at Kourtney, because she was afraid to tell me at first. So I get why people think I’m hurt, because my own sister thought I would be.”

And about Kim’s famous boyfriend, Kanye West, Kardashian tells Redbook, “I love Kanye.”

“He always had a crush on Kim…. I’d always told Kim they were like two peas in a pod.”

The magazine hits newsstands on May 14.

Miranda Lambert Slams Chris Brown Again: Don’t ‘Celebrate’ Him After Rihanna Assault

11:30 am, January 8th, 2013

(Redbook)

Miranda Lambert is once again calling out Chris Brown for his 2009 assault on Rihanna.

The country star, who blasted Brown on Twitter after he performed twice at last year’s Grammys, reignites the feud in the February issue of Redbook.

Lambert tells the mag she slammed the singer because “I didn’t feel right about not saying something. The loudmouth that I am, I say what I think. I wanted everyone to know that I don’t agree with the message it’s sending to young women.”

She adds, “It’s not okay. At all. To be celebrated after doing something like that. I don’t think it’s right, I never will, and I will stand by what I said till the day that I die.”

Lambert’s comments are likely to draw flack from some Brown fans, especially in light of the fact that he and Rihanna are now seeing each other again.

The mag hits newsstands on January 8.

What do you think about Lambert’s new statements about Brown?
