Jennifer Lawrence says she got her American Hustle accent from watching “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

The star, who plays the booze-loving housewife of Christian Bale’s conman character in the movie, told MTV News, “I can’t tell where it came from because I just kind of started speaking in it, and I’ve been watching a lot of reality TV shows and those reality TV shows have a lot of New Jersey women, so I can’t say that it’s not from them.”

“I wish I could, I really wish I could,” Lawrence said of her character’s accent.

The star went on to share that if she were to be in one of the “Real Housewives” franchises, it would definitely be New Jersey because “that’s where I belong.”

Lawrence also confessed she’s “not proud” of her “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” addiction.

Rosie Pierri: Real Housewives of New Jersey Is NOT Fake

Rosie Pierri has one misconception to clear up about the “Real Housewives of New Jersey”: It’s not fake!

“I get asked ‘Was that set up?’ And I’m like, ‘No, that was not set up!’ That’s reality TV,” she told Gossip Cop at the American Music Awards nominations ceremony on Thursday.

The reality star continued, “And what you see on there for me is what you get. I’m not any different on that screen than I am in real life, and I think that’s true to all the cast members there.”

Pierri has gone from relative anonymity to being easily recognizable through her “Real Housewives” appearances with sister Kathy Wakile and cousin Teresa Giudice, a change that she’s loving for the most part.

“I’m getting to meet really great people out there that I probably wouldn’t have gotten to meet otherwise,” the TV personality told us.

The only time Pierri is a little hesitant to chat with approaching fans?

“If I’m out on a date or something, it gets a little bit intrusive,” she admits.

Teresa and Joe Giudice Free on $500K Bond, May Face 30 Years in Jail For Fraud

Teresa and Joe Giudice of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” appeared in court on federal fraud and tax charges on Tuesday.

They did not enter pleas and were released on $500,000 bond, forced to surrender their passports and limit their travel to New Jersey and New York.

On Monday, the couple was hammered with a 39-count federal indictment charging them with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and making false statements on loan applications.

They’re accused of manipulating records to exaggerate or hide their wealth at various points in time, including the submission of phony tax returns.

Joe Giudice is also charged with failing to file tax returns between 2004 and 2008.

An Italian citizen, he faces deportation if he’s convicted.

If they’re found guilty of the most serious charges, the Giudices could face up to 30 years in prison.
