Queen Elizabeth II has left a London hospital after being treated for gastroenteritis over the weekend.

The 86-year-old monarch was hospitalized on Sunday for the first time since a 2003 knee operation.

On Monday, she left the King Edward VII hospital without assistance before being driven away in a motorcade.

Buckingham Palace said the Queen was in “good spirits” before her departure, and that all signs indicated that her illness was not serious.

As a precaution, her official engagements for the week, including a trip to Rome, were postponed or canceled.

Queen Elizabeth Rocks 3D Glasses For Christmas Message

Truth rating: 10

Queen Elizabeth II is making quite the fashion statement this holiday season.

For the first time, the monarch recorded a 3D version of her annual Christmas Day message — and in a just-released photo, she’s rocking the special glasses to view her specially formatted announcement.

The Queen’s blinged-out shades — complete with crystals forming a “Q” — make a nice addition to her typical ensemble.

As for the 3D message itself, a royal spokesperson explained, “We wanted to do something a bit different and special in this Jubilee year, so doing it for the first time in 3D seemed a good thing, technology-wise, to do.”

Her yearly message is set to be broadcast at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday.

She will celebrate the holiday at her family’s country estate in Sandringham, although Prince William will be spending Christmas with his in-laws.
