The BBC has apologized for accidentally airing a photo of Prince William with a penis drawn on his head.
The gaffe occurred on Thursday morning during a teaser for the show’s upcoming feature on the musical comedy group Barbershopera, which sings a tune called “I Could Have Married Kate.”

After the blunder, the network issued an apology, saying its producers failed to catch the doodle before the picture was broadcast.
The BBC stated, “This image was shown fleetingly within a comedy promotional video for Barbershopera, a humorous barbershop group, who were appearing later on in the program.”
“The material was provided by Barbershopera but we failed to spot the offending material within it. We apologize for this,” added the network.
