Prince William and Kate Middleton have picked seven godparents for baby Prince George, and the names were released shortly before the new royal’s christening on Wednesday in London.

Zara Tindall is the only royal on the list — she is William’s cousin and an Olympic equestrian.

Olivier Baker is a friend of both William and Kate from their time at St. Andrews University.

Emilia Jardine-Paterson is a school friend of Kate’s.

Earl “Hugh” Grosvenor is heir to the Duke of Westminster, and his mother (the Duchess of Westminster) is one of William’s godparents.

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton acted as private secretary to William and Prince Harry for several years, and now serves as their Principal Private Secretary and Equerry.

Julia Samuel was a friend of William’s mother, Princess Diana.

William van Cutsem is the youngest brother of the family that provided support to William and Harry following Diana’s death in 1997.

The christening of three-month-old George will be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace.

Harry on Being Uncle to Prince George: I’m Going To “Make Sure He Has Fun”

Truth rating: 10

Prince Harry is excited to be an uncle.

On Thursday, the royal spoke with reporters about meeting his brand-new nephew, Prince George for the first time at Kensington Palace the previous day.

Harry said that he’d had a “cuddle” with his brother William and Kate Middleton’s newborn son (photos here), although George had been “crying his eyes out, like all babies.”

Tears aside, Harry is happy to have George in the fold.

“It’s fantastic to have an addition to the family,” he’s quoted as saying. “I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are!”

Harry said he wasn’t sure which of his parents George more closely resembled, telling the press, “I think you can judge that one for yourself. I’ve no idea.”

As for his role as Uncle Harry?

He plans “to make sure he has a good upbringing, to keep him out of harm’s way and make sure he has fun.”

“The rest of it I leave to the parents,” said Harry.
