Peter Capaldi Named 12th Doctor on Doctor Who

Peter Capaldi has been named the 12th Doctor on “Doctor Who.”
The pick was revealed during a live BBC special on Sunday.
Capaldi replaces Matt Smith, who announced his departure from the iconic science fiction series earlier this year.
He is probably best known to audiences as the foul-mouthed political advisor Malcolm Tucker on the beloved British series “The Thick Of It.”
Smith is due to leave the show with the 50th anniversary and Christmas specials at the end of the year.
