The blogger claims Cruz “will play opposite Daniel Craig in the 24th official James Bond film,” and will be “the oldest femme ever to get fatale with the super spy!”

Perez quotes a supposed “insider” as saying, “She’ll be a great Bond girl. Bond girls are always brainy as well as sexy, and that’s totally Penelope.”

Totally.

The blogger goes on to wonder, “The real question is whether Penelope’s character will have anything to do with hubby Javier Barden’s villainous Silva from Skyfall.”

“We’re guessing director Sam Mendes saw her visiting Javier [Bardem] on set and just knew he had to have her!” offers Perez.

And we’re guessing that the so-called “reporter” once again neglected to fact-check one of his stories.

Well, Gossip Cop did, and we learned that the rumor is completely FALSE.

A close Cruz insider tells us “it’s not true” that she’s going to be the next Bond girl.

Penelope Cruz Pregnant With Second Child

Penelope Cruz is officially pregnant with her second child.

The actress is “tremendously happy and very excited” to be expecting another baby with her husband Javier Bardem, her rep told Hola!

As Gossip Cop previously reported, rumors began to swirl earlier in the month that Cruz was again pregnant.

Cruz and Bardem wed in 2010 and welcomed a son named Leo in January 2011.
