Tokyo will host the 2020 Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee made its decision on Saturday.
The Japanese metropolis beat out Madrid and Istanbul in the final vote.
Next year’s Winter Olympics are slated for Sochi, Russia.
The 2016 Summer Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 2018, Pyeongchang, South Korea is playing host to the Winter Olympics.
