Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are set to give one ailing young fan a weekend to remember.

The “Vampire Diaries” stars have posted a video message for Kayla, a devotee in Toronto who reportedly needs a lung transplant.

In the clip, Dobrev and Somerhalder tell the “courageous” fan to make sure her schedule is cleared on Saturday — because they’re coming to visit her!

“As much fighting as we do on the show, [Dobrev’s character] Elena will never be as strong as you,” the actress tells Kayla.

Did Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split?

According to a flurry of stories that originated on Celeb Dirty Laundry, “The Vampire Diaries” couple supposedly broke up, with the website blaming Somerhalder’s (imaginary) potential casting in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie and then claiming that because the two stars tweet about different things, it means they’re “leading separate lives.”

Huh?

Of course, when we last heard from the misguided outlet, it was trying to convince everyone that Demi Lovato was trying to hook up with Robert Pattinson.

The site’s latest story about Dobrev and Somerhalder, posted on Tuesday, insists that because the actor appeared to be “happy” while taking photographs with fans at a public appearance in Mississippi over the weekend, it must signal that “it was Ian that called a time out in the relationship rather than Nina.”

Based on that, Celeb Dirty Laundry ran a headline declaring, “Ian Somerhalder Dumps Nina Dobrev.”

Seriously?

Needless to say, Gossip Cop has been getting a ton of questions about Dobrev and Somerhalder’s status as these bogus rumors continue to spread.

The breakup buzz is FALSE.

A source close to Dobrev tells Gossip Cop the split reports are “not true.”

Nina Dobrev spoke about the absurdity of on-screen hookups on Tuesday’s “Conan,” revealing that one thing in particular can make the experience even more uncomfortable.

“The awkwardness or the weirdness is when my mom comes to set, and I have to do a sex scene or something, and that can be kind of weird,” began “The Vampire Diaries” star.
