Kanye West took the stage at Sunday’s 2013 MTV Video Music Awards – and a set a record in the process.

Performing “Blood on the Leaves,” the rapper tied Madonna for the most VMAs performances of all time.

Both stars have now performed at seven different Video Music Awards.

Pretty cool.

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards are being held in Brooklyn on Sunday, and Gossip Cop has a live stream of the event below.

The red carpet pre-show gets underway at 6 p.m., followed by the awards show at 9 p.m.

Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Drake, and Robin Thicke are among the scheduled performers.

Justin Timberlake, rumored to be taking the stage with his *NSYNC band mates, and Macklemore lead the nominees.
