Lady Gaga Stretches Naked and Dips Butt in Gold Before VMAs – PICS, PHOTOS

Lady Gaga had a big night at the MTV Video Music Awards — opening the show with “Applause,” coming to the defense of One Direction — and a lot of prep apparently went into it.

The pop star’s photographer pal Terry Richardson documented — and then tweeted pics of — her prep before the awards, including rehearsals and costume and wig selection.

Because it’s Gaga, there was also some naked stretching, nose ring adjustment, and the moment when she caked her buttocks in gold.

*NSYNC VMAs Reunion Backstage Photos!

Justin Timberlake and his *NSYNC mates reunited at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, delighting a generation of boy band fans who waited more than a decade to see the group perform together again.

On Monday, the newly verified *NSYNC Twitter account sent out some backstage pics of the reunion and also retweeted a couple personal Instagram shots from Timberlake and Lance Bass.

For a brief, shining moment, it was 2001 all over again… and we were young.

JC Chasez on *NSYNC VMAs Reunion: It Was Justin Timberlake’s Idea (AUDIO)

The *NSYNC reunion at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards was all Justin Timberlake’s idea, says JC Chasez.

The former boy bander told Ryan Seacrest on Monday that Timberlake recently called him, and “said, ‘Hey man, listen. I’m getting this award and they have given me a pile of time to perform and we started our careers at MTV and I think we should get the band back together.’”

“It really was about him and all that he’s accomplished, but he wanted to acknowledge that part of his career, so we all decided to do it,” explained Chasez.

As for the news leaking out in the days leading up to the event, the singer recalls, “When J called me he’s like, ‘Listen, man, lets really make it a treat and let’s not tell anybody.’”

“I don’t know if there are cameras in the ceiling of wherever but it was unbelievable,” continues Chasez. ”We were in rehearsal and Lance [Bass] walked in and said, ‘Well everybody knows now’… and we were like, ‘How in the world did these people figure this out?!’”
