Christina Aguilera is “ready for a new man,” reports Star, which claims the singer’s romance with Matthew Rutler is “on the rocks” and she’s “already on the prowl for a replacement.”
A supposed “source” tells the tab, “Their relationship is convenient. It was always casual, very on and off, and not something Christina saw a future in.”
Is that why Aguilera has dated him for two and a half years and had him move in with her?
Anyway, the so-called “insider” says, “Christina plans on being ‘officially’ single by the time she begins promoting her new album and tour.”
“She’s wasting no time setting her sights on a number of eligible bachelors,” reveals the spy, who explains that Aguilera “wants an A-list boyfriend to complement her newfound confidence.”
The alleged “pal” shares, “All that’s missing is a hot, headline-stealing man on her arm,” adding, “She’s already compiled a wish list that includes Colin Farrell and Jared Leto.”
This is all very amusing, considering the fact that Star’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, last week reported that Aguilera had slimmed down so she could marry Rutler over the summer.
Of course, that story was also completely made up, and so is this new “report.”
An Aguilera insider laughed off the tab’s tale to Gossip Cop, telling us it’s absolutely NOT TRUE.

Christina Aguilera lost 25 pounds because she’s about to marry Matthew Rutler, claims the National Enquirer.
Given the Enquirer’s history with the couple, this is hilarious.
Because last year, the tabloid told everyone that Aguilera gained 25 pounds because Rutler was supposedly a “chubby chaser.”
Seriously — we couldn’t make this stuff up.
Oblivious to its own previous bogus reporting, the Enquirer now says Aguilera is “getting in top shape for her wedding.”
“Christina is sprucing up and losing weight because she and Matt are planning to tie the knot this summer,” an “insider” tells the tab.
The Enquirer source alleges that Aguilera has “finally said yes to his repeated marriage proposals” and is “ready to embark on a new life with a new hot body.”
But while it’s true that the singer is looking healthy these days, it is NOT the case that she’s specifically dropped weight to wed Rutler.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop there’s absolutely no truth to the Enquirer report, explaining that Aguilera is just “in a happy place” at the moment.
