Stars across the country are celebrating Thanksgiving, but it’s hard to find more adorable domestic bliss than Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s family scene.
Carey tweeted, “Family prepping time! #pecanpie #thanksgiving.”
The accompanying picture (see right and below) shows the couple with their two-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe and a big bowl of pecans.
Cannon posted the same shot, writing, “Up late preparing for Thanksgiving!”
It looks good, but we don’t expect Kanye West to be dropping by the Carey-Cannon household on Thursday.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are “falling apart,” claims Star.
The tabloid writes, “Amid rumors of her cheating and him checking out of the relationship, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s five-year union is in jeopardy.”
According to a source for Star, “Mariah and Nick’s marriage is hanging by a thread. Neither of them shows much interest in working through their problems.”
The basis for the story seems to be Carey’s alleged frustration with Cannon’s work ethic and her annoyance when he discusses their relationship in his comedy.
A tipster tells the tabloid, “They barely see each other anymore and are basically living across the country from each other. Mariah is under enormous stress, trying to finish her new album, and Nick isn’t supportive. She’s ready to ditch him.”
Why doesn’t she?
“Mariah would cut Nick loose, but she’s too worried about him making a grab for a huge chunk of her fortune,” alleges another “source” for the magazine.
The Star “insider” says, “The only thing holding them together right now is their shared love of their son and daughter. But Mariah and Nick’s marriage may well be past the point of saving.”
Uh-huh.
Look, tabloids frequently use celebrity couples’ busy work schedules (which often take them apart for periods of time) as an excuse to write up “split” stories.
But an outlet like Star, which has been COMPLETELY off base about Cannon and Carey in the past, should really have some more evidence than supposed “stress” before declaring that their marriage is “hanging by a thread.”
A rep for the couple says the new report is completely false.
