Liberty Ross opens up about her husband Rupert Sanders’ affair with Kristen Stewart in the new Vanity Fair.

“It was horrible,” the model turned actress tells the magazine. “It was really the worst, really the worst.”

She adds, “I have no words to describe what we went through. But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I’m going through a rebirth.”

Ross reveals that Sanders admitted he was cheating with Stewart 20 hours before the story broke and sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood.

Her brother Atticus, who’s also a close friend of Sanders, tells Vanity Fair, “It was f**king crazy.”

“To some extent at that moment, Rupert was in denial, and Liberty didn’t know what was going to happen…. I’m texting people because I know this is going to be huge,” recalls Atticus. “I knew this had all the makings of what our world has become. This is going to be f**king big, and Liberty needs to be protected.”

Ross and her two children sought refuge from the paparazzi at a friend’s home.

“I was able to be there completely secluded,” she says. “I just visualized [being] this sort of Masai warrior. I was just going to stand very still and very strong, and just let it all roll past me.”

Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Stewart and directed by Sanders, had been a triumph for Ross before the scandal unraveled her marriage.

The movie “was all we’d come here for, and we’d done it,” she tells the magazine. “We were driving around town and seeing these billboards of his movie. We were so excited, like, ‘Wow, how did we do that?’ I was so proud of him, what he’d done — what we’d done. We were a team, and the movie was made out of love.”

After the Stewart revelation, Ross knew her marriage was over.

She says, “I’m not a quitter. I’ve done everything I could to be the perfect wife and mother and really support my husband. But I just didn’t have any more to give, you know?”

But she has good memories of her time with Sanders and says she forgives him.

“We were together for 16 years, and that in itself is really beautiful,” reflects Ross. “And we’ve created two exceptional lives together.”

CLAIM: Kristen Stewart Going Bald Due to Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross

Truth rating: 0

6:02 pm, September 18th, 2013

(Getty Images)

Kristen Stewart is “losing her hair” because of Rupert Sanders, claims OK! magazine.

The tabloid, which has always had a “reality” problem when it comes to the actress, has stopped publishing false rumors involving her and Riley Keough or Michael Pitt long enough to pick up a completely different bogus narrative — the fake story about Stewart supposedly going bald.

And OK! has somehow tied that non-story into its continuing facts-free coverage of Stewart and Sanders.

The magazine explains that Stewart “began seeing” Sanders a second time recently, “but that fizzled out quickly.”

A so-called “insider” suggests to OK! that “guilt and unrequited love” could be contributing to Stewart’s “balding” (which, again, is not actually real).

Moreover, Sanders’ ex-wife Liberty Ross is “making life difficult for Kristen,” says the tabloid.

“Liberty recently left a message for Kristen, suggesting she might as well sew a big letter ‘A’ on her chest, since she’s never really apologized to the now-divorced mom,” explains the OK! source.

Wow.

The outlet says that “because of the enormous guilt weighing on Kristen’s head, she hasn’t allowed herself the time she needs to let herself heal.”

“Kristen stays super busy to stay in denial,” says the same all-seeing OK! source. “But the problem is, her body isn’t in denial. Kristen’s mental state is being played out on her scalp.”

Uh-huh.

All of this — the theory that Liberty Ross, Rupert Sanders, and the plot of The Scarlett Letter are conspiring to make Stewart’s hair fall out — is based on a single unflattering photograph in which the actress’ hair happens to be parted.

It’s madness.

She is NOT going bald, there’s NO new wave of Sanders drama, and OK! continues to be one of the least reliable sources for news about Stewart.

Period.

TAB: Kristen Stewart “Bombarding” Robert Pattinson With Calls on Valentine’s Day

Truth rating: 0

1:11 pm, February 17th, 2013

(The Sun)

Kristen Stewart was unsuccessfully “bombarding” Robert Pattinson with calls on Valentine’s Day, while he’s been “consoling Liberty Ross as she goes through divorce” is the premise of another bogus piece by The Sun.

According to the British tabloid, which has been wrong over and over again about the Twilight stars, Stewart kept ”pressing redial on the phone,” trying to reach Pattinson on February 14, but “there’s a good chance that she only got an engaged tone, though, because Rob has been busy calling Rupert Sanders’ ex.”

Wait, was he actually speaking to Ross or was there “a good chance” they were talking on Valentine’s Day?

Despite the paper quoting a suspiciously fake sounding “source” as saying, “Robert’s always thought Liberty was gorgeous” and is “keen to meet up” with her, there’s a more than good chance the report is 100 percent wrong.

As Gossip Cop has repeatedly noted from insiders, Pattinson and Stewart are still together.

Could they break up in a month, a year, 10 years from now? Anything’s possible, but right now, despite their distance, we’ve been assured the couple is still dating.

And talk of Pattinson “consoling” Ross, we’re told, is also “not true.”
