Leonardo DiCaprio to Take “Long, Long Break” From Acting: Report

Leonardo DiCaprio says he’s “drained” and “worn out” after shooting three films in two years, and wants to “take a long, long break.”

According to the German paper Bild, DiCaprio says he would like to take time off to “improve the world a bit,” adding, “I will fly around the world doing good for the environment.”

The Django Unchained star, who also completed filming of The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street, notes, “My roof is covered with solar panels. My car is electric.”

Gossip Cop reached out to DiCaprio’s rep to verify the German-language paper’s quotes.

Leonardo DiCaprio Threw Fit Over New Year’s Eve Club Appearance In Sydney?

Leonardo DiCaprio allegedly threw a fit over a personal appearance on New Year’s Eve, according to The Sun.

The paper claims the actor had been hired to party at Marquee in Sydney, Australia, but “wasn’t happy about his payment for the night and demanded to leave after just ten minutes.”

DiCaprio was supposedly “overheard” by The Sun shouting, “Do you think I want to be here? I left my family at home for this. We have a contract.”

The outlet alleges that club bosses “told the star that he wouldn’t get paid unless he stayed for an extra ten minutes,” but that DiCaprio cut his evening short anyway.

Except… this supposed club drama never happened, and The Sun should really, really look into getting more reliable DiCaprio “sources.”

The story is “100 percent false on all accounts,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop.

We’re assured DiCaprio stayed at Marquee past midnight, and there was absolutely no argument between the actor and club management.

Leonardo DiCaprio in “Love Triangle” with Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom?

In a piece titled, “Leo’s Titanic Love Triangle,” the National Enquirer claims, “Leonardo DiCaprio is at risk for getting caught in a dramatic love triangle with Victoria’s Secret stunner Miranda Kerr and her actor husband Orlando Bloom.”

According to the supermarket tabloid, “Orlando is deeply concerned that a ‘special friendship’ has been brewing between Leo and Miranda while he’s in South Africa” filming the movie Zulu.

The magazine goes on to allege that DiCaprio and Kerr have recently “raised eyebrows with their flirtatious-looking public displays around New York City.”

“Leo and Orlando have been friends for a long time, and there have never been any trust issues between them — until now,” says a supposed “source,” who adds, “Orlando knows that Leo goes through supermodels like Kleenex.”

That last quote is not the only thing that’s seemingly made up.

A mutual pal of Gossip Cop and DiCaprio’s tells us the entire Enquirer tale is “not true.”

Much like Bloom, Kerr and DiCaprio are just good friends.
