On Thursday, Lena Dunham posted an Instagram clip of her spanking Jemima Kirke with a spatula-like object while Kirke sings Cyrus’ catchy tune.

Dunham laughs hysterically throughout the video.

The writer-director-actress is understandably not amused by the X-rated spoof.

Dunham tweeted on Thursday, “I wish I had a better attitude about the Girls porn parody. I really can never predict what will trouble me and it’s simply exhausting.”

Adult film star Richie Calhoun, who plays Adam in the porn spoof, said he wanted to make the video true to the HBO series, telling media outlets, “I tried to make it as weird as possible. I tried to say really weird things and do really weird positions.”

Um… OK.

Check out the poster from the XXX video below.

What do you think of Dunham’s reaction to the porn parody?

Christopher Abbott Abruptly Leaves Girls

Truth rating: 10

11:06 am, April 4th, 2013

Charlie and Marnie are over — again.

Christopher Abbott, who plays Charlie on HBO’s “Girls,” has abruptly left the show.

The actor’s rep tells the New York Post, “[Chris] is grateful for the experience of collaborating with Lena, Judd [Apatow], and the entire ‘Girls’ cast and crew, but right now he’s working on numerous other projects and has decided not to return to the show.”

The paper says Abbott butted heads with Dunham about the show’s direction.

His departure comes as a shock as his character reconciled with Allison Williams’ Marnie on the season two finale.

Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for Abbott and Dunham for more details.

Are you sad Charlie is leaving “Girls”?
