LeAnn Rimes is putting her career on hold because she’s terrified her marriage is in jeopardy,” begins a breathless piece from the National Enquirer.

The mag claims the country singer has “only three concerts scheduled for the busy summer touring season” because “she’s afraid to leave her husband, Eddie Cibrian, home alone.”

According to a purported “insider” for the tab, “Summer is prime time for country singers to go out and play the festival and fair circuits, and LeAnn is giving up a fortune by not touring.”

The alleged “source” tells the rag, “She says Eddie doesn’t like to go on the road with her, so she stays home.”

Another so-called “insider” notes, “LeAnn is worried about hitting the road and leaving Eddie to his own devices.”

“She knows how they started — with an affair — and she fears it could happen again,” adds the spy.

YAWN.

We’re heard all this nonsense before about Rimes supposedly living in constant fear that Cibrian will stray.

And yet the couple remains happily together.

As for Rimes supposedly not touring so she can monitor her husband, a rep for the country star tells Gossip Cop, “This is a total fabrication.”

The spokesperson notes that Rimes has more than a dozen concerts scheduled for this summer so far, and “we are adding cities to the summer tour weekly.”

Of course, the Enquirer would have known this had it simply visited Rimes’ official website, but that’s asking too much of the tab, we guess.

LeAnn Rimes: I Don’t Earn My Money From Hurting People Or Trying to Get in Tabloids

10:11 am, March 4th, 2013

LeAnn Rimes seemingly jabs Brandi Glanville in a new interview with the U.K. paper Metro, implying that the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star is constantly bashing her and Eddie Cibrian because it’s her only source of income.

Asked about the constant tabloid coverage of her and Cibrian, a number of stories which have been supplied directly by Glanville, Rimes tells the paper, “It has been an ongoing story… but it’s involved some very wrong information.”

She says, “I try to let it roll off my back but it’s gone on for a long time,” adding, “I have a talent, I can sing. I don’t earn my money from trying to hurt people or get in the tabloids.”

Glanville, of course, has discussed Rimes and Cibrian prominently on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and writes about the couple at length in her new book, “Drinking & Tweeting.”

Rimes previously said Glanville using her as a storyline on the reality show was “flattering,” but now it seems she’s ready for the drama to end.

LeAnn Rimes Being “Hotly Pursued” To Join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Truth rating: 0

10:34 am, February 21st, 2013

(RadarOnline)

LeAnn Rimes is being “hotly pursued” to join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” claims RadarOnline.

The webloid, which embarrassingly reported on the show’s season three reunion months before it even happened, alleges that Bravo producers “plan to lure Brandi Glanvilles arch nemesis” onto the series in a bid to “spice things up in the 90210.”

According to a supposed “source” for the blog, “Producers have approached LeAnn multiple times about joining the cast and have been pursuing her even harder in recent weeks.”

The purported “insider” adds, “Executives at Bravo have told LeAnn that appearing on the show would be a great opportunity for her to get her side of the story out and no longer be seen in a negative light.”

No, they haven’t.

None of these meetings ever took place.

Last year at this time, RadarOnlines sister publication the National Enquirer ran this exact same inaccurate report.

It wasn’t true then, and it’s still not true now.

A Bravo insider tells Gossip Cop there’s “zero truth” to the claims that Rimes is being pursued by the show.
