Simon Cowell Baby Mama Lauren Silverman Settles Divorce: Reports

Simon Cowell’s baby mama Lauren Silverman has reportedly reached a divorce settlement with her estranged husband Andrew.

According to multiple outlets, the former couple came to terms early on Wednesday.

Details of the reported settlement were not disclosed, and none of the parties has offered comment.

It’s being reported that Lauren Silverman received less than the $4 million stipulated in her pre-nuptial agreement, and that the former couple will have joint custody of their 7-year-old son.

The Silvermans’ marriage blew up two weeks ago when it was revealed that she was pregnant with Cowell’s baby.

Cowell was subsequently slammed for “acts of adultery” in Andrew Silverman’s divorce filling.

CLAIM: Simon Cowell Sending “Secret Notes to Lover” Via Jennifer Lopez

“Jennifer Lopez is passing messages between Simon Cowell and the married socialite who is expecting his baby,” claims the Daily Express.

According to the UK tabloid, “The singer has agreed to act as their ‘go-between’ after Cowell’s legal team insisted he break off all contact with pregnant Lauren Silverman until her divorce with her husband Andrew is settled.”

“She and Lauren have met at least twice,” a so-called “source close to Cowell” tells the Express, pointing out that Lopez and Silverman have homes near each other in the Hamptons, and alleging the pair “spent 20 minutes talking animatedly” at a “recent barbecue.”

The British paper’s supposed snitch continues, “There have been quite a few phone calls between the two. Lauren has come to regard Jen as her only lifeline to Simon. The arrangement has taken a lot of stress out of her situation.”

“Jen has assured her Simon would never, ever leave her and their unborn child out to hang,” claims the alleged insider, adding, ”While Jen isn’t altogether comfortable playing sob sister, she’s come to understand how worried Lauren is and let her know she will continue to be there for her.”

Wow… as in, wow, this is really wrong.

Lopez has nothing to do with Cowell and Silverman’s relationship.

A source close to Lopez tells Gossip Cop it’s “absolutely not true” that she’s acting as a “go-between” for the couple.

Simon Cowell Asked About Pregnancy; Lauren, Andrew Silverman Break Silence

Simon Cowell faced the media during a “X Factor” panel at Thursday’s Television Critics’ Association press tour, where the judge was questioned about expecting a baby with Lauren Silverman.

The reality show bigwig was reportedly asked whether Silverman’s pregnancy was as big a shock to him as it was to the public.

“I haven’t read the newspapers. Am I missing something?” he reportedly joked in reply.

Cowell is quoted as going on to say, “I appreciate the question. Unfortunately I have to keep this, for the moment, private. It’s just one of those things.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Silverman is currently estranged from Cowell’s close friend Andrew Silverman, who has filed divorce papers accusing the pair of committing adultery.

Andrew broke his silence about the situation late Thursday, releasing a statement that says, “My top priority is protecting my 7-year-old son while working to resolve all outstanding issues with my wife.”

“Hopefully people can respect the interest of our child during this process,” he added.
