Katie Holmes Has “Sights Set” On George Clooney, Claims Tab

Katie Holmes has her “sights set” on George Clooney, reports the Daily Mail.

Picking up on a story from Grazia, the tabloid claims the pair had “serious chemistry” when she attended his Gravity premiere in New York on October 1.

The paper alleges that Holmes and Clooney have recently “grown close” and “have enjoyed a number of dinner dates over the last few weeks after getting on like a house on fire at a dinner party.”

“A house on fire”? That sounds serious!

Anyway, the Daily Mail quotes a purported “insider” as saying, “They’re both single and have met up a couple of times since the dinner party. Katie really has her sights set on him. There is a genuine connection.”

The supposed “source” adds, “They are enjoying their new flirtation. He’s a fun guy with buckets of charisma and Katie loves his company.”

You gotta love a guy with buckets of charisma.

Unfortunately for the tabloid, however, this story is 100% made up.

Gossip Cop checked in with a close Holmes pal, who tells us the dating report is complete “b.s.”

Katie Holmes Complains To Friends About “Nag” Suri Cruise?!

“Katie Holmes has all her clocks set to Suri time,” begins a piece from Us Weekly, which claims the actress “had to rush out of an NYC Starbucks at around 3 p.m. on September 24 to meet her demanding 7-year-old.”

According to a supposed “witness” for the tabloid, “Katie was telling her friend that they had to be quick so she would have time to pick up Suri.”

The purported “observer” adds, “Katie warned her pal, ‘If we’re late, Suri will nag, and I don’t feel like listening to that again tonight.”

Seriously?!

Absolutely NOT.

Dedicated mothers like Holmes do not typically refer to their 7-year-old’s as nags, nor do they complain about picking their kids up from school on time.

This story is ridiculous.

A source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s story is completely “not true.”

Katie Holmes & Jamie Foxx Are “Hooking Up,” Claims Webloid

“New Couple Alert? Jamie Foxx & Katie Holmes Caught Holding Hands At Hamptons Bash,” reads the headline of a new RadarOnline “exclusive.”

According to the webloid, “Holmes blindsided Tom Cruise when she filed for divorce just over a year ago,” and now she’s going to “stun him once again by hooking up with his former best friend, Jamie Foxx.”

The blog claims “the pair did not hide their affection while dancing together at the Apollo in the Hamptons benefit in East Hampton, New York on Saturday.”

“Katie repeatedly grabbed Jamie’s arm and generally looked happier than she has in ages,” exclaims RadarOnline.

The webloid adds that Foxx and Holmes have “become much closer in recent weeks,” and quotes some random other site as saying they’ve been dating for “a few months.”

Wait, wasn’t RadarOnline the same site that previously dropped the ball when it reported that Holmes wants to only date artists, not actors, like Oscar-winner Foxx?

Regardless, there is NO “new couple alert,” there is NO “hooking up,” and they are NOT dating.

A mutual friend of Holmes and Gossip Cop called the coupling report “ridiculous,” stressing that she and Foxx have been “friends for a very long time.”

The real deal is that RadarOnline took some photos of the two pals at the Apollo event in the Hamptons (above right) and fashioned a bogus “new couple” post around those pics.

Nothing more than that.
