Kim Kardashian SLAMMED Katie Couric on Friday, calling her a “fake” for sending the new mom a baby gift while dissing her family in a recent interview.

The reality TV star posted a picture of the congratulatory card from Couric (see below) and wrote as a caption, “I Hate Fake Media Friends.”

Kardashian added, “May I Humbly Suggest You Not Send Gifts Then Talk Sh*t.”

Why the hard feelings?

Couric was recently quoted by In Touch as saying of the Kardashians, ”I don’t understand — why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested.”

It looks like those comments did not sit well with Kardashian.

Jennifer Aniston Dissed “Cougar” Katie Couric For Going After Justin Theroux?

Jennifer Aniston “lashed out at Katie Couric after becoming convinced that the 56-year-old cougar was trying to get close to her fiancé Justin Theroux,” reports a crazy story from the National Enquirer.

According to the tabloid, the We’re the Millers star dissed Couric on “Chelsea Lately” because she thinks the journalist is after Theroux.

A so-called “source” for the mag says, “Katie clearly likes her men dark, handsome and young, and Justin fits that bill.”

The purported “insider” adds, “Jennifer has a lot to protect right now, and the last thing she wants is for Katie to ruin her happiness.”

Therefore, the tab claims Aniston warned Couric to “stay away from my man!”

Wow, that all sounds very dramatic… and totally made up.

Aniston’s jab at Couric had everything to do with her annoyance about the tabloid media prying into her upcoming wedding planning, and nothing to do with any supposed fears about the reporter stealing her fiancé.

In any case, Gossip Cop checked in with a Aniston source, who called the story a “joke.”

Jennifer Aniston dissed Katie Couric for her “tabloidy” journalism on Wednesday’s “Chelsea Lately.”

Chelsea Handler was telling her guest that Couric asked her about Aniston’s wedding in a recent interview, to which Aniston interjected, “What’s Katie Couric? Is she a legitimate journalist?”

“Is she getting tabloidy? Wasn’t she on the ‘Today Show’?” asked the We’re the Millers star.
