According to Life & Style, Jennifer Aniston’s haircut means she’s not marrying Justin Theroux.

Confused?

So is the tabloid.

Life & Style, which last year falsely reported that the couple was preparing for the arrival of a baby, now claims that Aniston’s new bob “says more about the status of her relationship with [Theroux] than anything else.”

How so?

“Jen loves her hair long,” a so-called “insider” explains to the magazine. “She thinks it’s her thing.”

And, because “every bride wants to feel her best when she says ‘I do’ to the man of her dreams,” says Life & Style, this new short cut has delayed the wedding.

Calling her haircut an “extreme makeover,” the tabloid suggests that Theroux will now “have to wait to see his fiancee dressed in white.”

Um, except the couple was already waiting to wed.

That doesn’t seem to matter to Life & Style.

“If Justin were to change his mind and want to get married tomorrow, Jen would probably say no — and that would be a shock for him,” a source tells the tab. “She’s doing what she wants right now, haircuts included.”

What a remarkably peculiar thing to say.

In other words, Aniston and Theroux don’t plan to get married soon… but if they did, her new haircut would be a red flag that she doesn’t want to tie the knot?

Maybe an outlet that said the couple was racing to the altar more than a year and a half ago shouldn’t be trusted to speculate about their nuptials timetable.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the report is “weird and wrong.”

Justin Theroux Getting Cozy With “Mystery Blonde” at Party Without Jennifer Aniston?

Truth rating: 0

Justin Theroux attended last weekend’s 40th birthday party celebration for Robert Downey, Jr.’s wife Susan.

His fiancee Jennifer Aniston happened not to be there.

Star magazine tries to turn this complete non-story into a scandal.

The tabloid, which has published some outrageously wrong things about the couple this year, swings and misses yet again with its latest report, trying to portray Aniston’s absence as an opportunity for Theroux to stray.

“Because it was a family event, people were stunned to see that Jennifer didn’t attend with Justin,” says one so-called “eyewitness” for Star.

According to the magazine, “eyebrows were raised even further when Justin was spotted getting affectionate with an attractive blonde, even sharing an embrace with the mystery woman.”

“He gave her a friendly kiss and a hug when she walked up, which is normal,” says the Star source. “But what was abnormal was the fact that they were touchy-feely and stood around with their arms around each other.”

The eyewitness adds, “Justin’s close affection with the blonde was definitely the talk of the party.”

Uh-huh.

Maybe Star should find an eyewitness who’s better with identifying famous people.

Because the “mystery woman” who hugged Theroux at the party was Trudie Styler, Sting’s wife and a longtime friend of Theroux’s.

“They were saying goodbye upon leaving the party,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop, calling the story suggesting that something scandalous had happened “ridiculous.”

Oops.

Jennifer Aniston “Torn” About Justin Theroux Wedding Plans, Claims Tabloid

Truth rating: 0

The National Enquirer has a new made-up story about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding plans.

According to the tabloid, which frequently publishes patently false stories about the couple, Aniston is “wrestling with a major wedding dilemma because of a promise she made to her beloved godfather Telly Savalas before he died.”

The Enquirer explains that the actress plans to marry Theroux “in Hawaii at the end of the year,” but is “tormented by guilt because that would mean snubbing her Greek roots and breaking a vow she made to the late ‘Kojak’ star to always cherish her heritage.”

“That’s why she’s so torn over where to hold her wedding,” a so-called “insider” tells the magazine. “She knows that tying the knot in a Greek church would be uplifting for the community and a beautiful tribute to Telly.”

Savalas died in 1994.

Aniston married Brad Pitt in 2000 — in Malibu, California.

Not in Greece.

The Enquirer “insider” gets around this inconvenient fact by saying that if Aniston gets married again somewhere besides Greece, “a lot of people will feel let down.”

Because the tabloid has no clue what’s going to happen, it hedges and says that “as a compromise, Jennifer is considering doing both — getting hitched in Hawaii and having a follow-up ceremony at a Greek church in Los Angeles.”

Uh-huh.

This is the same outlet that recently claimed Aniston thought Katie Couric was trying to steal Theroux.

Its “sources” have ZERO CLUE where and when the couple is getting married.

An actual insider tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer story is completely “off base.”
