Julianne Hough and Maria Menounos celebrated Thanksgiving this year by competing in an epic dance-off between their families.

After Hough posted some hilarious videos of her mom and sisters dancing with their aprons on, Menounos decided to fight back with some moves of her own.

The “Extra” host shared an Instagram clip of her family grooving in their kitchen, along with the message, “Dear Hough Family Kitchen Dancers- the Greeks invented war. Get a load of me and my girls.#thanksgivingdancewars.”

Menounos then turned things up a notch by getting down in a purple wig and sparkly top.

But Hough wasn’t afraid.

The Safe Haven star responded by posting a video of her brother Derek playing the guitar, writing, “Challenge Accepted @mariamenounos78 #hough#family #dancewar.”

CLAIM: Isla Fisher Tried to Stop Julianne Hough Blackface Halloween Costume

“When Julianne Hough showed up at an October 25 L.A. party in blackface makeup, Isla Fisher jumped into action,” reports Us Weekly.

A “witness” tells the magazine that Fisher “was mortified.”

According to the Us Weekly source, the actress told Hough to “go to the bathroom and wipe her face off.”

“Isla hoped she got to Julianne before photos were taken,” adds the tabloid’s insider.

Wow, so did Fisher really intervene and try to stop Hough?

NO.

A rep for Fisher says this never happened.

Looks like Us Weekly has more egg on its face.

Julianne Hough: I’m Sorry I Wore Blackface For Halloween [UPDATE]

Julianne Hough wore blackface for her “Orange is the New Black” costume at the Casamigos Tequila Halloween party in Hollywood on Friday night.

The Safe Haven actress dressed as Crazy Eyes, a black character from the popular Netflix series, while her friends portrayed other stars from the show.

Derek Hough posted a pic of the group to Instagram (see right and below), writing, “Orange is the new Black !! Genius costumes. Love how much they commit and have fun with a show they love. #womanunit.”
