Jeff Gutt teamed up with one of his idols, John Rzeznik, on Wednesday’s “X Factor” finale.
The finalist performed one of the Goo Goo Doll’s biggest hits, “Iris.”
“That was an awesome performance,” said a giddy Demi Lovato. “I’m so star struck right now, but you held your own.”
Paulina Rubio said Gutt comes across as “beautiful musician [and] father,” and Simon Cowell called it the “perfect collaboration.”
Added mentor Kelly Rowland, “You just really killed that. I’m so proud of you.”
