Jimmy Kimmel took his “Lie Witness News” segment to New York Fashion Week, where he had a correspondent ask attendees about designers that do not exist.

The interviewer questioned the supposed fashion devotees on collections from “George Costanza,” “Eddie Munster” and “Willy Loman.”

Kimmel’s correspondent also asked people about one designer having his models walk down the runway with watermelons on their heads (never happened) and the new “uni-boot” from Christian Louboutin (nonexistent).

It’s pretty entertaining.

Last week, a woman calling herself Caitlin Heller uploaded a YouTube video called “Worst Twerk Fail EVER – Girl Catches Fire!” that quickly went viral, garnering millions of hits.

On Monday, Jimmy Kimmel revealed he was the mastermind behind the entire thing.

In case you missed the original clip, it features “Heller” doing a handstand in front of a door in the middle of an intense twerk session.

When the door unexpectedly opens, she goes crashing into a table outfitted with lit candles, lighting her pants on fire as she and her friend shriek.

(It’s very entertaining.)

But, alas, it was all fake.

Kimmel literally pulled back the curtain on his hoax during Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” showing the full “director’s cut” of the Twerk Fail clip and revealing who “Heller” really is.
