Reese Witherspoon says her disorderly conduct arrest was even worse than reported.

The Mud star revealed on Thursday’s “Good Morning America” that she “panicked” when she saw the police officer busting her husband Jim Toth, confessing, “I told [the cop] I was pregnant.”

“I’m not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things,” the actress said.

Witherspoon went on to explain, “We went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine. We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.”

As for her asking the arresting cop, “Do you know my name?” she A-lister admits, “I was so disrespectful to him.”

“I have police officers in my family,” she shared, noting, “I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just unacceptable.”

Witherspoon added, “I played a lawyer in a movie so many times I think I am a lawyer. And, clearly, I’m not a lawyer because I got arrested.”

Reese Witherspoon talks about motherhood, empowering women, and much more in the UK magazine Red.

In an interview conducted before her disorderly conduct arrest, the movie star says, “As women, we shrug and smile and say, ‘Oh… me?’ because it makes it socially acceptable for us to be successful.”

“But there is a balance between being an arrogant jerk and being someone who is proud of their accomplishments,” adds the actress, offering, “We need to let successful women show off and support them.”

Witherspoon shares, “You have to be the best version of yourself and, if that means you have to be a bit self-promoting, then it’s okay.”

The A-lister cites displaying her Academy Award for Walk the Line in her living room as an example of this, and explains, “Because Lord knows every day is not a success. Every year is not a success. You have to celebrate the good.”

Witherspoon goes on to talk affectionately about her husband Jim Toth, her kids with Ryan Phillippe, Ava and Deacon, and her baby son Tennessee, whom she says “stole my brain.”

The Mud star reveals, “Ever since I had the baby, I can’t remember anything. Seriously, this child stole my brain.”

“I’ve got a 13-year-old, a nine-year-old and a baby,” she tells the mag, saying, “It’s like CNN ticker tape running through my mind at all times: ‘Where is Ava? She’s okay. Good. Where is Deacon? He’s okay. Good. Where is Tennessee? Is he okay? Yes. Great. Back to Ava…’ It doesn’t stop.”

Reese Witherspoon has reportedly canceled her talk show appearances in the wake of her disorderly conduct arrest.

The actress was scheduled to promote her new movie Mud on Tuesday’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” but has since pulled out of the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Witherspoon also reportedly canceled a Monday sit-down with “Good Morning America,” as well as a Mud press junket in New York set for the same day.

The Oscar winner walked the red carpet at the film’s preview on Sunday night (photos below), but arrived late and gave no interviews.

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Witherspoon to confirm the nixed appearances.

As we previously reported, the actress was handcuffed and taken into custody in Atlanta on Friday, after allegedly mouthing off to officers as her husband Jim Toth was busted for DUI.
