Jessica Simpson has banned her father Joe from her wedding because she’s afraid he’ll cause an embarrassing scene!” claims the National Enquirer, which has been botching stories about Simpson’s marriage plans for years.

According to the tabloid, the fashion entrepreneur “has been at odds with her dad/manager since he and her mom, Tina, divorced this past spring after 34 years of marriage.”

Oh, that reminds us: The Enquirer falsely claimed the younger Simpson “fired” Joe as her manager last year.

Guess the magazine forgot about that gaffe.

In any case, the Enquirer is convinced there’s new trouble brewing.

“Jessica’s relationship with her father has deteriorated so much she doesn’t want him at her wedding,” a so-called “source” tells the tabloid. “She’s afraid he’ll make a spectacle of himself, or worse yet, start something with Tina.”

The Enquirer insider adds, “Jessica still loves Joe, but she wants the day to be about her and [fiance Eric Johnson], not some sideshow with her dad.”

There is no sideshow.

Just like there are no specific wedding plans.

All of this is just in the Enquirer’s imagination.

A source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop the story is “not true.”

MAG: Jessica Simpson Told Ashlee To Stop “Plastic Surgery Habit”

Truth rating: 1

Jessica Simpson is putting her foot down — and closing her purse — when it comes to little sister Ashlee’s plastic surgery habit,” claims Star.

According to an “insider” for the mag, “Ashlee regularly uses fillers and plumpers for her lips. But Jessica believes Ashlee has gone overboard and told her to stop looking like one of the Real Housewives!”

Star goes on to explain that “Jessica isn’t just a concerned sister: she’s also Ashlee’s boss.”

“Jess generously hired Ashlee to model for her clothing line — Ashlee’s first steady paycheck in years — but now worries that Ashlee may be bad for the brand,” alleges the tab.

Last month, Star claimed Jessica pays all of Ashlee’s bills, including her rent, but conveniently makes no mention of those allegations now.

That’s because those allegations were utterly false — and so is this story.

A source close to the Simpsons assures Gossip Cop the magazine’s claim about Jessica telling Ashlee to curb her “overboard” plastic surgery “habit” is entirely made up.

Jessica Simpson Shares Four Life Lessons She Wants Her Kids to Learn

Truth rating: 10

Jessica Simpson shares four things “I want my kids to know” in a new guest blog post for Parents, and opens up about how her public pregnancies now affect her parenting.

“My pregnancy with Maxwell, specifically because she is a girl, made me realize that I wouldn’t be able to protect her from everything I had been through as a woman,” writes Simpson.

She says that her pregnancies ”were well documented and my struggles with my weight and body image have played out in front of the world. As hard as that has been, the hardest part is to realize that with all the hurtful and harsh criticism from others, I have been the hardest on myself.”

Simpson acknowledges that having a daughter has made her self-conscious about self-criticism, especially when it comes to weight issues.

“Raising Maxwell makes me realize that I don’t want her to see me beat myself up for things like food choices or numbers on a scale,” writes Simpson. “I don’t want her to learn anything like that from me.”

She continues, “Those things don’t determine who we are and instead make us feel terrible about ourselves. I want to teach her to value herself, listen to herself and tune out the world.

“I want her to know her value, rather than spending her energy fighting negative voices from within,” says Simpson. “I want to teach her to figure out what is truly right for her rather than worrying about what anyone else thinks.”

As for the four things she hopes to teach both Maxwell and new son Ace, she summarizes:

  • Build a great support system. A strong family and wonderful friends keep me headed in the right direction every day!

  • Learn to accept compliments as graciously as you give them. Don’t dismiss them – soak up the positivity and give it back as often as you can!

  • Find a partner who really supports and listens to you in the good times and the bad.

  • Be original. The world will try to fit you into a mold, but carve your own path.
