Jennifer Hudson has some cold feelings toward “American Idol,” despite the fact that she got her start on the singing competition show.
On Thursday’s “Watch What Happens Live,” the singer told Andy Cohen the show’s producers laughed at her when she told them she was going to be a star.

Hudson revealed, “When I was eliminated from the show, I told them… ‘I will be back. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, I don’t know where. But I will be back.’”
“I recall the producers laughing, and here I am,” added the Oscar winner.
Hudson came in seventh place on the third season of “American Idol.”
