Jenna Dewan-Tatum: Channing Is “Mr. Play Funtime Dad” With Baby Daughter

Jenna Dewan-Tatum talks about being a new mom and raising little daughter Everly with husband Channing Tatum in the new Ocean Drive.

“He’s Mr. Play Funtime Dad. So every time he comes in, he’s singing to her,” the actress tells the magazine. “He holds her and dances around and she’s laughing. She literally lights up when he walks in the room.”

Even though the “Witches of East End” star’s life is much more chaotic now, it’s exactly what she hoped.

She says, “I’ve always wanted a life that was very family-based, with lots of energy, and I got that times 10! You should see us at the airport with my 14 carry-ons. I’m like ‘I am going to limit this,’ and somehow I still have two diaper bags, a purse, her clothes in case it gets cold. It’s a whole thing.”

It turns out Everly actually has some pretty sophisticated taste in music.

“She is obsessed with Drake’s ‘Hold on, We’re Going Home.’ If I put that on, she will sleep in five seconds,” Dewan-Tatum tells Ocean Drive.

The actress adds, “Prince’s ‘The Most Beautiful Girl in the World’ also lulls her to sleep. There’s no nursery rhymes, no sweet nursery music to put her down. She is like, ‘No, please. I like the hits.’ I’d like to think that Drake and Prince are pretty badass for a little girl.”

Working on TV and with a baby doesn’t leave much time for sleep, but Dewan-Tatum is managing.

“I’m learning to just try and find it as much as I can for a couple of hours,” she says. “You get a nap in there, and it builds up — and then you get the day where you’re like, ‘Oh my God, can somebody watch her for five hours?’ I need to go to sleep!”

What do you think of what Dewan-Tatum has to say?

Jenna Dewan Banned Channing Tatum From Partying with Jamie Foxx?

“The only thing new dad Channing Tatum is going to stay up late for is diaper duty — because wife Jenna-Dewan-Tatum has issued a strict warning to her hubby not to party with Jamie Foxx!” declares Star.

Huh?

According to the tabloid, Tatum “recently let it slip to Jenna” that his White House Down co-star Foxx is a “hard partier.”

Yes, because that was such a secret.

“Jenna freaked out,” a so-called “pal” tells Star. “She knows that Jamie is a ladies’ man. She reminded Channing that he’s a married father with no business hanging out with drunk women.”

Um, we’re pretty sure he knew that already.

The Star source continues, “He and Jamie built a tight friendship while filming and he wants to keep that. He just thinks Jenna’s hormones are running a little wild after giving birth.”

Wow, how offensive.

And made-up.

Tatum and Foxx will probably be spending a little less time together in the coming weeks because they’re no longer promoting their movie.

Dewan-Tatum never issued any kind of ultimatum or warning, there was never any concern about Tatum’s potential behavior, and all three stars remain on good terms.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the Star story is “absurd.”

Channing Tatum Talks Pregnancy Sex and Getting Naked in ELLE

Truth rating: 10

12:18 pm, July 5th, 2013

Channing Tatum opens up to ELLE about stripping, monogamy, getting naked, pregnancy sex, and more in a new interview.

The White House Down star, who recently welcomed his first child with wife Jenna Dewan, is asked, “Is it true that pregnant women want to have sex all the time?”

“It’s a bit of a paradox,” replies Tatum. “They’re definitely hormonally raging, but when they get further along — they’re just dealing all the time. So, yes and no.”

It seems like naked bodies are frequently on display in the Tatum household.

Asked about Dewan’s revelation that he takes off his clothes when he comes home, the actor says, “I don’t really know. I have a really nice back porch where the pool is. Once the shoes are off, the socks come off too, and then everything else downstairs just follows at some point.”

Tatum also incorporates the human body into his artwork.

“I really love anatomy, in general. I like sculpting bodies,” explains the star, although live nude models are not on the premises. “My sculptures look like my wife. Not pregnant. [Laughs] Her old body.”

But Tatum has left behind much of the lifestyle he enjoyed as a stripper.

“Being in a relationship was always the endgame, but I’ve had my crazy times,” he reflects. “When I was stripping, I wasn’t with anyone. That’s not an occupation you have when you’re monogamous.”

Now that he and Dewan are together for the long haul, Tatum says that openness is what keeps the couple on track.

He explains, “I think communication and being brutally honest about the things that you want—what you fantasize about, or whatever…. No matter what, talk to each other. That stuff you might be nervous to hear? You gotta want to know.”
