The first trailer for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit debuted on Thursday.
The movie, the latest in the Jack Ryan film franchise, has Chris Pine taking over the titular character.
Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner co-star alongside Kenneth Branagh, who also directed.
Pine is following in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck, who most recently played the role in 2002′s The Sum of All Fears.
The new film isn’t a sequel, but a reboot of the franchise, and is slated to open on Christmas Day.
The preview comes just two days after the death of Tom Clancy, the author of the Jack Ryan book series.
