“Sofia’s Fiance Moves Out,” reads the headline of a new — and poorly timed — story about Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb in In Touch.

According to the tabloid, Loeb was recently spotted “moving his things into a luxury apartment building in NYC — without his fiancee.”

The magazine, which wrongly reported two weeks ago that their “wedding is off,” and incorrectly said three months before that they were splitting, then quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “He’s been spending a lot of time apart from Sofia, going back and forth from NYC to Florida, while she’s been in L.A.”

Whatever.

Hilariously, on the same day that In Touch is trying to peddle more trouble between the couple, Vergara has posted a sexy bikini pic of herself and Loeb on a holiday vacation in Mexico.

Last year, the couple was in Mexico when Loeb proposed to the “Modern Family” star.

Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb’s “Wedding Is Off,” Claims Tabloid

Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb’s “wedding is off!” announces In Touch.

The magazine, which claimed the couple was splitting three months ago, again says the “Modern Family” star has “put the brakes on her roller-coaster romance.”

According to a so-called “insider” for the tab, “She and Nick have been having problems since this summer, and they’ve been spending more time away from each other.”

The supposed “source” adds, “There is no wedding date, no plans, no dress.”

In Touch goes on to point out that Loeb wasn’t at Vergara’s Los Angeles home for Thanksgiving, quoting the “insider” as saying, “The fact that Nick wasn’t with her family on Thanksgiving speaks volumes.”

Does it though?

Gossip Cop checked in with a Vergara insider, who tells us that Vergara was unable to travel with Loeb to Florida for the holiday as she “couldn’t leave L.A. because of work.”

“They are fine,” our source says, adding that the mag is simply “creating a story.”

Britney Spears and Robin Thicke Had “Secret Affair”?

“Miley Cyrus isn’t the first pop star to get Robin Thicke into trouble,” begins a piece from In Touch, which claims the “Blurred Lines” singer had a “secret affair” with Britney Spears.

According to the mag, “The pair had a fling in 2003 — when Britney was at the top of her game but no one knew who Robin was yet.”

What a timely story.

Anyway, a supposed “source” tells the tabloid, “He was trying to develop a reputation as a hot young singer and Britney was the biggest thing in show business.”

The so-called “insider” goes on to claim that Spears and Thicke, who has been with now-wife Paula Patton since high school, “started hooking up” after collaborating on a project “which was never released.”

How convenient.

Clearly, the magazine has no actual news to report this week, so it went ahead and pinned together two random celebrities and claimed they hooked up 10 years ago.

In any case, a rep for Thicke says the singer was never involved with Spears.

And a source close to Spears also tells Gossip Cop the story is not true.
